I am interested in getting hair extensions, but I'm not sure
how big a bundle is? I'm just trying to figure out if I would need to purchase more than
one. Please get back to me. Thank You!

Typically speaking, the guidelines are as follows:

To achieve length only: 4 to 6 bundles of hair
To achieve fullness with no increase in length: 2 to 4 bundles of hair
To achieve a combination of fullness & length:  6 to 10 bundles

The amount of hair necessary is primarily determined by the amount of hair per square inch on
your head, commonly referred to as density.  It is for this reason we are unable to give accurate
quotes over the telephone or by email (we simply can't see you!).

I want the extensions before my wedding, which is taking
place in June, in Jamaica. I will be spending the week at the beach, and am
wondering if I am setting myself and my hair up for failure if I plan on being at the
beach. Will swimming in the pool or ocean be a disaster? Any suggestions on how to
make it work? Or is it a bad idea all together?

Its best to try to keep your hair as well as extension hair out of salt water as they tend to make
the bonds brittle and dry out the hair shaft. Swimming pools would be better, but regardless, I
would recommend you wear some kind of head covering (swimmers cap) if you plan on
indulging in any kind of swimming or water sports.  If you plan on being in the water (ocean or
swimming pool) without a cap, I would advise you do not duck your head under the water, and
furthermore, to wet your hair with tap water before going in.  This will lesson the transferrance
of salt or pool water into the hair.

If you decide to get extensions and swim in the ocean, be advised that you may lose a few
strands, but since there are so many strands in your head, losing even 10 or 15 wouldnt be a
big deal.

I would say you could get them in for the wedding, but I would plan it so that you could have
some of them removed when you get back from your wedding, and if you wish, we can give
you some pieces to replace the old ones at that time.

I am very interested in setting up a
consultation. I do have a question before I come in.... how long does my hair need to
be before I can have the extensions put in? I have a stacked bob hair cut now, and
the back is very short. I'm just wondering how much it needs to grow out before the
extensions will look the best.

We need at least 1/2 to 1 inch of hair in order for the extensions to look natural to ensure that
the extension hair bond has enough room to adhere.

I am interested in getting extensions, and would like to know how long they can stay in
my hair.  Also, if I want to keep them in year-round, how is that possible?

The extensions are designed to last a maximum of 3 months in your hair before they should be
rebonded.  The extensions hair can usually be re-used.  If you want to keep them in for a
longer period, what we would do is change out between 25 to 40 % of the hair we put in after 2
months.  This ensures that your hair remains looking consistent and also helps spread out the
cost.

I'm getting married on Jan. 25th, and I haven't decided on a hairstyle yet, but more
than likely, it's going to involve some type of heat styling--rollers, straightener, curling
iron...etc. plus lots of product.  Is that possible with extensions or is that a terrible
idea?  I just don't know how extensions respond to that sort of thing.  Also, I'm going
on my honeymoon shortly afterwards to a tropical location and my hair will be getting
wet a lot.  Will that be a problem?  My hair is naturally wavy, and I like to wear it this
way as well as straighten it too.  I saw that the options for extensions were either
curly or straight.  I didn't really like the look of the curly as much as the straight, but I
would like to have the option to wear my hair wavy too.  Is this possible?

You can do anything with the extension hair that you could do with your own hair, including the
use of heating tools (flat-irons, curling irons, etc...).

I'm actually wanting to dye my hair blonde before getting the extensions.  Would you
recommend just doing the whole thing at your salon?  Can you do the dye job and the
extensions all in one day?  That just seems like it would be easier than anything else.

We can absolutely do your color and put extensions in on the same day.
